AKINLOYE AJAYI
ARTICLING STUDENT (REQUALIFYING NCA LAWYER)
Akinloye is an internationally trained lawyer who moved to Canada from Nigeria. He holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. On arrival in Canada, Akinloye wrote and passed Canadian Law courses that earned him a Certificate of Qualification, issued by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada/NCA in 2023.
In Nigeria, Akinloye worked with an international law firm for 14 years and has considerable experience in Maritime Law, Aviation Law and Commercial Litigation. He also has an established background in Property Law, Wills & Estate, Employment Law and Family Law. Akinloye appeared before all superior courts in Nigeria and obtained judgments in well over 15 contested cases.
Akinloye has been ranked as a Next Generation Partner (Shipping and Transportation) by The Legal 500 for the year 2019. He has also been recognised for his work in commercial litigation and employment matters.
Outside of legal work, Akinloye enjoys watching movies, listening to music and traveling.
